At Rachael’s Rooms, we want your experience to be exciting, smooth, and stress-free. To help everything run perfectly, here are our friendly, easy-to-follow Terms & Conditions.

📌 Booking Your Date

To secure your event date, we require a £250 non-refundable deposit.
Your booking isn’t confirmed until the deposit has been received.

💳 Final Payment

The remaining balance is due 12 weeks before your event.

We’ll send you reminders so you won’t miss anything.

❌ Cancellations

Deposits are always non-refundable.

If you cancel within 12 weeks of your event, the full balance is still payable because décor, stock, and preparations will already be underway.

🔄 Making Changes

Need to change something? No problem — just let us know in writing.

Changes such as theme, décor items, timings, or venue may incur additional charges and will depend on availability.

🚗 Travel Costs

We proudly serve Hull and the surrounding areas.

If your venue is more than 20 miles from Hull, additional travel charges will apply.
This may include:

Fuel

Travel time

Parking or toll fees

We’ll always be clear and upfront about any costs.

🏛️ Venue Access

Please make sure we have access to your venue at the agreed setup time.

We can’t be held responsible for delays caused by the venue, restrictions, or late access.

🎀 Damage & Hire Items

If any hired décor items are damaged or lost during your event, we may need to charge for repair or replacement.

We’re always fair and transparent about this.

🌧️ Unexpected Events (Force Majeure)

If something completely out of our control happens — extreme weather, illness, accidents, or venue issues — we’ll always do our best to help, but we can’t be held liable for cancellations or delays caused by these circumstances.

We respect your privacy.
Your details are stored securely and only used for:

Contacting you about your event

Legal and accounting purposes

We follow UK GDPR and Data Protection laws.

We never sell or share your information with anyone except essential suppliers involved in your event.
